How to use
the system.

Start with the identity rules, then move into the application library. Mockups show approved design intent; they are not production artwork unless explicitly labelled.

Your comfortable place
inside a busy day.

Drip Happens is not just a coffee place. It is a place where customers feel comfort, belonging, and confidence.

Core promise

Your comfortable place for a better pause.

Comfort + Belonging
+ Confidence

The recommended essence carries comfort, trust, belonging, simplicity, and a clear promise without exaggeration.

Comfort

The customer feels at ease.

Belonging

The customer feels the place fits them.

Confidence

The customer trusts the choice.

Your comfortable place for a better pause.

Strategy into
visual behavior.

Mission, vision, and positioning define what the identity must communicate before any decorative choice is made.

Mission

We design a coffee and beverage experience that makes the customer feel comfortable and confident from the first moment: clear welcome, easy menu, comfortable seating, respectful service, and consistent quality.

Visual effectPrioritize readable hierarchy, clear product choices, welcoming compositions, and consistent application across every customer touchpoint.

Vision

To become the most trusted and comfortable daily place in every area where Drip Happens exists — a place people know, feel they belong to, and return to because the experience is always clear, comfortable, and reliable.

Visual effectBuild recognizable cues that can repeat across locations: stable typography, familiar color relationships, and layouts that feel dependable rather than trend-led.

Positioning statement

Drip Happens is not just a coffee place. It is your comfortable place for a better pause — serving quality coffee, clear service, and a calm sense of belonging inside a busy day.

Visual effectBalance energetic patterns with calm space, use real social photography, and keep the visual voice warm, confident, and approachable without appearing exclusive or performative.

Photography Style Direction

Drip Happens’ photography should feel energetic, spontaneous, and full of life. Shoots will primarily take place during golden hour to create a warm, vibrant atmosphere with natural light and movement.

People should always be present in the visuals, actively enjoying the experience, interacting with each other, or engaging with the product. The images should never feel overly staged, polished, or commercial. Instead, they should capture real moments, natural expressions, imperfect movements, and genuine energy.

The overall direction is youthful, social, warm, and dynamic—more like a memorable moment captured naturally than a highly professional photoshoot.

Tone of Voice

Clear, warm, confident, simple, and comfortable.

If Drip Happens were a person, it would be calm, confident, close, knowledgeable about coffee, but never showy. It would welcome you like you are known, recommend without pressure, and leave you comfortable.

Primary Archetype: The Everyperson

The nearby, familiar, relatable place. This supports belonging, closeness, comfort, and the feeling of “this is my place.”

Secondary Archetype: The Caregiver

The brand that makes the experience easier. This supports customer comfort, respectful service, cleanliness, complaint handling, and making the day feel easier.

How the archetypes shape the voice

Use the Everyperson to sound familiar, direct, and relatable. Use the Caregiver to simplify choices, reassure customers, and recommend without pressure.

Clear, warm, confident, simple, and comfortable.

The tone should not be childish, loud, philosophical, arrogant, full of terms, cold, or aggressively sales-driven.

Principles

  • Say it simply.
  • Speak from the customer’s use case.
  • Do not exaggerate.
  • Make the customer feel the place.

Examples

Instead of: “The strongest coffee experience in New Cairo.”
Say: “When you need coffee and a calmer seat, Drip Happens is your place.”

Instead of: “Family size drinks.”
Say: “Drinks made to be shared at the table.”
